- Hips – Measure around the fullest part of your hips, typically about 7-9 inches below the waist.
- Hollow to Hem – Measure from the hollow of your neck (the dip between your collarbones) straight down to the desired hem length (floor-length for an evening gown).
- Shoulder to Waist – Measure from the highest point of your shoulder down to your natural waistline.
- Thigh Circumference – Measure around the fullest part of your thigh, ensuring a comfortable fit, especially for a thigh-high slit.
- Strap Length – Measure from the front of your shoulder over the top to the back where the strap will be attached.
Additional Notes:
- Wear the undergarments and shoes you plan to wear with the dress while measuring for accuracy.
- Keep the tape level and not too tight.
- If someone else is helping, stand naturally with good posture.
